Kathua:  Today’s morning assembly at Government Higher Secondary School Magloor, conducted by Wisdom House, was a resounding success. The event featured a series of thought-provoking speeches and awareness lectures that left a lasting impact on the students.

Kritika Digra, a class 12 student, delivered a powerful speech on child abuse, highlighting the importance of creating a safe and supportive environment for all. Her words resonated deeply with the audience, emphasizing the need for collective action against this social evil ¹.

Niharika, a class 10 student, took the stage to discuss National Space Day, inspiring her peers with the wonders of space exploration and the achievements of Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). Her enthusiasm was contagious, sparking curiosity and interest in the field of space science.

Mr. Sanjeev Gupta, Lecturer in Physics, followed with an awareness lecture on Chandrayaan 3, delving into the mission’s objectives, challenges, and significance. His expert insights provided a comprehensive understanding of India’s lunar exploration program.

Teacher Mr.Raman Kumar Sharma’s awareness lecture on the POCSO ACT educated the students about the importance of child protection laws and the need for vigilance in preventing child abuse.

The assembly concluded with Principal Mr. Narinder Singh sensitizing the students about ISRO’s achievements, further motivating them to pursue careers in science and technology.
