Doda,November 30-A special SVEEP (Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation) program was organized today at HSS Kahaljugasar to promote awareness about the importance of voting and active participation in the electoral process.
The program began with a welcome address and proceedings conducted by Mr. Ashiq Hussain Ashiq, who emphasized the significance of voter education.
The highlight of the event was an awareness speech delivered by Senior Election Assistant, Mr. Ikhlaq Ahmed. He spoke about the importance of voting, the rights and responsibilities of citizens, and the need for ethical participation in elections.
The school Principal, Mr. Sanjay Kumar Sopori, along with staff members, BLOs, and the Panchayat Secretary, were present to support the initiative. Students actively participated in the program and pledged to spread the message of voter awareness within their communities.
Pamphlets containing essential information about the voting process and the importance of electoral participation were distributed to the attendees to further enhance their understanding.
The event concluded successfully, leaving participants motivated to contribute to a more informed and active electorate.
