Doda, November 30: A dynamic Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) program was held today at Higher Secondary School Gandoh, Doda.
The event, overseen by the school principal, Mohd Ayoub, was designed to foster voter awareness and encourage active participation in the democratic process among the young generation.
The program kicked off with a welcome address by Principal Ayoub, who underscored the critical role of voter education in shaping a responsible citizenry.
The centerpiece of the event was an informative speech delivered by Senior Election Assistant, Mr. Ikhlaq Ahmed. He delved into the significance of voting, elucidating the rights and responsibilities of citizens. Mr. Ahmed also emphasized the importance of ethical participation in elections, highlighting the power of the individual vote in shaping the future of the nation.
