Today, Former MLA from Ramban Ashok Kumar met fire victims of Kabbi village in Gandhri Block of Ramban constituency. In a statement issued here, he strongly urged the District Administration Ramban, NGOs and leaders to give all possible help to the fire victims of Kabbi village.
Former MLA Ramban, visited Kabbi, Gandhri along with Congress leaders Rehmatullah Runyal and Ankur Dogra, Pawan Khajuria Block president Gandhri, Youth Congress.
Ashok has called on the district administration to take swift and decisive action to rehabilitate the victim of a recent devastating fire incident in the Kabbi, Gandhri of Ramban constituency. The affected families namely Mohd Ishaq S/o Siraj Din, Abdul Latief S/o talab hussian, Jan Mohd S/O mahavali among various shopkeepers namely Abdul gani, Ashiq ali,
Mussafer ahmed diang and Mohd Isaac.
The fire has caused significant damage, leaving families homeless and in urgent need of support. Ashok expressed deep concern for the affected families and stressed the necessity for immediate relief, including temporary shelter, food supplies, and financial aid to help them rebuild their lives.
In his statement, Ashok said, “The victim is in dire need of assistance. I appeal to the administration to prioritize their rehabilitation and provide the necessary resources to help them recover from this tragedy. We stand in solidarity with the affected families and will extend all possible support to ensure their welfare.”
He urged the authorities to conduct a detailed assessment of the damages and expedite the disbursement of aid to those in need. Ashok also demanded a small unit of Government Fire services at Gandhri Block. He also appealed to the people for preventive measures to avoid such incidents in the future, emphasizing the importance of community safety initiatives.
