All India Medical Laboratory Technologists’ Association State Unit , Chandigarh organized its 15th Chandigarh Chapter & Scientific Seminar on February 20, 2025 which was named LABTECHCON-2025 at Auditorium, GMCH-32, Chandigarh . More than 300 delegates attended the conference all over from Northern India.
Prof. Dr. A.K. Attri (Director Principal, GMCH-32, Chandigarh) was the Chief Guest who innaugrated the Conference. In his address he encouraged the young Medical Technologists for their participation in such knowledge gaining Conferences. He laid a lot of emphasis on the fact that All Laboratory Staff should be very empathatic towards their patients and be concerned that good care is taken of the patient.
Mr. Rocky Daniel, State Secretary cum Oraganizing Secretary in his secretarial address said that every effort from our team has been carried out to make medical technology to reach the masses with active cooperation and participation of not only from our members but also from other states like Punjab, Haryana, UP, HP, UK, But still more needs to be done in the field and demands much more involvement of each one of us in uplifting the Bio-Medical Technology and Bio Medical Science Profession.
Prof. Dr. G. P. Thami (Medical Superintendent, GMCH-32) and Dr. Suman Singh (Director Health Services, Chandigarh) were the Guest of Honour.
Invited lectures on burning topics like “Public Health Care in Biomedical Science” were delivered by eminent speakers from various bio medical Lab specializations were from Chitkara University, GMCH-32, PGIMER, Dolphin PG College Punjab.
A Techno-quiz was also organized which helped in brushing up the knowledge of budding and incumbent technologists working and studing at various institutions.
Mr. Stephen gave vote of thanks to the Chief Guest, Guest of Honour and to all the delegates who contributed to the success of the event.
