Doda,March 22-Students from PM Shri Govt. Higher Secondary School Bhalra, Bhaderwah, organized a comprehensive educational tour across Jammu, designed to enrich their academic understanding and broaden their perspectives.
The two-day educational visit started from March 22nd to 23rd, 2025, exposed students to a range of disciplines, including cutting-edge technology, environmental science, and historical heritage.
The tour commenced with a briefing by Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Koul, who emphasized the importance of engaged learning and responsible conduct throughout the journey. The itinerary included visits to the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Jammu, where students explored advanced research facilities and technological innovations, sparking interest in future scientific pursuits. A visit to Jambu Zoo and the Fish Aquarium at Bagh-e-Bahu fostered environmental awareness, highlighting the importance of biodiversity and conservation.
Furthermore, students were introduced to the dynamic field of management at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Jammu, gaining insights into leadership and strategic thinking. The exploration of the Dr. Syama Prasad Mookerjee Tunnel provided a practical understanding of modern engineering achievements, while a visit to the historic Bahu Fort offered a glimpse into the region’s rich cultural history.
The meticulously organized tour, overseen by Om Parkash and Irshad Ahmed under the guidance of Principal Rajinder Singh Bhall, successfully provided students with valuable real-world exposure, supplementing their classroom learning.
