JU’s Bhaderwah Campus Celebrates 76th Republic Day with Patriotic zeal

Bhaderwah, January 26 : The 76th Republic Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit at Bhaderwah Campus, University of Jammu.

The celebrations began with the hoisting of the tricolour by Prof. Rahul Gupta, Rector of Bhaderwah Campus, followed by the singing of the national anthem. Students, teaching, and non-teaching staff participated in large numbers to mark this significant occasion.

In his address, Prof. Rahul Gupta congratulated everyone on the 76th Republic Day and highlighted the importance of this day in the history of India. He spoke about the values of democracy, liberty and justice enshrined in the Constitution and urged everyone to work together towards building a stronger and self-reliant nation. He also praised the active participation of students and staff in campus activities that foster unity and patriotism.

Prof. Gupta encouraged the youth to take pride in their heritage and contribute to the nation’s development through innovation, education and service.

Dr. Kuljit Singh, Academic Coordinator of Bhaderwah Campus, delivered an insightful address on the historical significance of Republic Day. He paid homage to the visionaries who drafted the Constitution and emphasized the responsibilities of citizens in safeguarding the democratic fabric of the country.

The formal vote of thanks was presented by Assistant Registrar Bhaderwah Campus, Mr. Mujeeb Sheikh, who expressed gratitude to all attendees for making the event a grand success. He acknowledged the efforts of faculty, staff, and students in organizing the event with zeal and dedication.

The event concluded with the distribution of refreshments, leaving everyone inspired to uphold the values of the Constitution and work collectively towards a better future for the nation.
