DDC Ganderbal takes stock of PMGSY works in Kangan, Gund tehsils
GANDERBAL, MAY 08: District Development Commissioner Ganderbal, Dr. Piyush Singla, along with a team of officers conducted an extensive tour and took stock of various Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY) works of Kangan and Gund tehsils of the district.
During the visit, the DDC took stock of various roads under PMGSY and urged upon the concerned to do their best in providing better services to the citizens.
Issues concerning Chatergul-Kachanambal, Kachanambal-Babanagri, Ganiwan-Surfraw, Ramwari-Gund, Sumbal-Bala and Shalwas-Gujarpati roads were discussed threadbare on the occasion.
The DDC directed the concerned engineers to shift the electric poles and water pipes from the PMGSY roads which are under construction within 15 days’ time. He also directed the Assistant Commissioner Revenue to resolve land issues relating to different PMGSY roads in order that work at those critical spots could be expedited.
Further, the DDC stressed upon the concerned to redouble their efforts for achieving the physical as well as financial targets and to ensure that people do not face any inconvenience.
