SRINAGAR, JULY 13: Chowdhary Zulfkar Ali, former Minister and MLA Darhal met Governor N. N. Vohra at the Raj Bhavan today.
Former Minister briefed Governor about the ongoing schemes in his Constituency and projected certain demands which included attention to making educational institutions functional; upgradation of schools; establishment of Kendriya Vidayalya at Nagrota, Rajouri; four laning of Jammu Akhnoor Pooch road; establishment of Receiving Station for Rajouri; and boosting tourism potential of Rajouri and Poonch.
Sh. Zulfkar drew Governor’s attention to the need for implementing various relevant laws and earmarked budget provisions to promote the interests of the Tribal Community and reservation in promotion of SC and ST as per directions of the Supreme Court.
