A motorcyclist was killed in a road mishap at Chichilora area of Magam in central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Monday.
“Today at about 17:30 hours, one tata sumo (JK05C- 8303) coming from Magam to Kunzer while reaching chichilora collided with a motorcycle (JK05B-8010),” a police officer told media.
The officer said that the motorcycle was driven by Muzafer Ahmad Shiekh son of Mohammad Ramzan Shiekh, a resident of Karhama, suffered serious injuries in the mishap and was immediately taken to Sub-District hospital Magam where doctors declared him brought dead.
A case FIR No. 75/2018 u/S 279,304A, 427 RPC was registered and further investigation taken up, he said.
