DDC Kishtwar visits Machail, reviews arrangements for pilgrims

KISHTWAR JULY 26: District Development Commissioner Angrez Singh Rana took on the spot review of arrangements for the pilgrims here at Machail Mata temple as he joined the annual yatra to the historical temple shrine, which started the other day.

The DDC directed the concerned officers to work in synergy with the yatra management, SarvaShakti SevaSanstha for providing all basic facilitates including safe drinking water, food and logistic facilities, first aid facility and guidance to the pilgrims.

He asked the Yatra Officer, concerned magistrates and members of Sanstha to closely supervise cleanliness along the yatra route from Gulabgarh to Machail- which has been outsourced on contract. He asked them to report him immediately if they notice any type of laxity on the part of contractor in maintaining cleanliness.

The DDC stressed on strict adherence to the directions issued regarding the arrangements for the yatra and warned officers concerned against any slackness in this regard.

Later, the DDC attended Chandi Mata Jagran which was organised by Sarva Shakti SevaSanstha at Gulabgarh, Padder.

Eminent singers, musicians and artists presented devotional songs, bhajans and bhaints in the praise of the Machail Mata- creating a spiritual ambience at the venue.
