Four drug peddlers arrested with heroin in Jammu and Kashmir

Bhaderwah police arrested four drug peddlers and recovered 60 grams heroin from their possession. As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Bhaderwah Police Station laid a naka near Droundi and intercepted a Maruti car bearing registration number JK02M-5825. During checking, police recovered 60 grams of heroin from the possession of four persons traveling in the car and arrested them.

The arrested persons have been identified as Shafqat Hussain, son of Mohammad Shafi of Droundi Bhalla, Tariq Hussain, son of Jaan Mohammad Mir of Halaaran, at present Phigsoo Thathri, Narinder Kumar, son of Nardev Singh of Hanga Bhaderwah and Khurshid Ahmed, son of Ghulam Rasool of Shaamdali Tehsil Kahra, at present Tipri Thathri. A case under FIR Number 120/18 under Section 8/21/22/29 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Bhaderwah and investigation started.

Police team led by ASI Naseer Ahmed made the arrest under the supervision of SHO Bhaderwah Inspector Muneer Khan, SDPO Bhaderwah Touseef Ahmed, Additional SP Bhaderwah Rajinder Singh and SSP Doda Mohammad Shabir.
