As many as 15 people were injured after a tin shed collapsed during a tractor race at the Padampur Dhaan mandi area of Sri Ganganagar district in Rajasthan on Sunday.
Srigangangar District Collector Gyana Ram confirmed that 15 people have been injured in the incident. “Ten of them are admitted to the local hospital in Padampur and five are undergoing treatment at Sriganganagar district hospital and are stated to be in a critical condition,” he said.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje said that she is praying for the quick recovery of the injured and ordered the district administration to set up an inquiry into the matter.
She tweeted, “I pray for quick recovery of the injured. I also appeal to everyone not to indulge in rumour mongering. The District administration shall be enquiring into the matter in detail. Unfortunate incident in Padampur. No casualties have been reported. The injured have been provided prompt medical care some have already been sent home after first aid.”
