DDC REVIEWS PROGRESS OF WORKS UNDER CM’s COMMITMENTS

BANDIPORA, MAY 11: District Development Commissioner Bandipora, Khursheed Ahmad Sanai, today convened a meeting to review the progress of development works under CM’s commitments.

The meeting reviewed the progress of development of Nishat Park, Gulshan Park and Gulshan Chowk coming up at a cost of Rs. 3.4 crore. Progress of installation of solar lights from Mini Secretariat to NHPC Headquarters for which Rs. 1.65 crore has been approved was also reviewed during the meeting.

While reviewing the progress of water supply schemes in the district, the meeting was informed that under CM’s commitments three water supply schemes are coming up in the area at a cost of 11 crore rupees.

The DDC directed the concerned Executive Engineers to ensure that all development works are completed within the timeline fixed by Divisional Commissioner Kashmir. He also directed the monitoring committees to ensure proper inspections of works and submit timely reports to concerned authorities.

CEO Wular & Manasbal Development Authorities, CPO, Executive Engineer PHE and officers from NHPC were also present in the meeting.
