A shocking hit and run case was reported in Jaipur, Rajasthan. A SUV car allegedly ran over four people who were sleeping on the footpath during late hours on Thursday night. As per sources the incident took place around 10.45 pm near the Saras fly over in Gandhi Nagar area.
In the horrifying incident one person succumbed to his injuries on the spot, meanwhile two others are severely injured and are battling for their life. The injured people were taken to emergency department of Sawai Man Singh Hospital, commonly known as SMS Hospital.
In the photos it can be seen, a white Scorpio car had crushed the people to death. However, the driver of the SUV car had been detained at the spot by the people and the police officials have taken him to hospital for a medical test.
As per the preliminary investigation by the police, the SUV was coming from the Gandhi Nagar railway station side when it crushed the people to death while trying to take a sharp left turn.
The case comes few days after an elderly woman lost her life when a speeding vehicle mowed her down on Harmara Road, Jaipur. The woman was identified as 63-year-old Sushila, who owned a dairy shop in nearby area. While, the police officials rushed her to district hospital, she was declared brought dead.
