On the eve of Shri Krishan Janamashatami falling on 3rd September, Shoba Yatra is being taken out through the below mentioned routes today as per past practice at 3.00 PM onwards. The general public is hereby informed that there will be some traffic restrictions/ no entry for the vehicles in and around the following areas and during the Shoba Yatra.
People are advised to take alternate routes in order to avoid any inconvenience.

“Geeta Bhawan Parade – Shalamar Road -Indira Chowk- Ranbir Market -Hari Market-Main Gate of Shri Raghunath Ji TempleRaghunath Mandir Chowk-Veer Marg -Shahidi Chowk-Rajinder Bazar-Kanak Mandi-City Chowk-Old Hospital Road – Purani Mandi – Link Road- Jain Bazar-Chowk Chabutra- Upper BazarPanjthrithi-Mubarak Mandi-Chowk Chabutra- Pacca Danga – Moti Bazar -Raj Tilak Road – Purni Mandi Chowk- City Chowk – Raghu Nath Bazar and will culminate at Shri Raghu NathJi Temple.”
NO ENTRY POINTS DURING THE SHOBHA YATRA in CITY JAMMU:-
1. Indira Chowk/Hari Market crossing towards MandirChowk.
2. Dennis Gate towards MandirChowk. Shahidi Chowk towards Residency Road.
3. DC Office towards Shahidi Chowk.
4. Sunder Singh Gurudwara road towards Mandir Chowk.
5. Shalamar road towards City Chowk.
