Two held with drugs in Shimla

Shimla, Sep 18: Himachal Police has arrested two suspected drug smugglers from the district and allegedly recovered narcotics from their possession, the police said Tuesday.

Sixteen gram charas has been allegedly recovered from Veer Bahadur of Karchhari village in Rohru tehsil, Shimla Superintendent of Police Omapati Jamwal said.

An FIR has been registered against him after his arrest under the Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.

In another case, nine gram ‘chitta’ (synthetic drug) has been recovered from 27-year-old Shshank Shaiily, he said.
