Police on Sunday registered an FIR against a BJP leader in Bandipora after block development officer (BDO) filed a complaint against him for allegedly using abusive language in his office yesterday.
An official said district president BJP Sheikh Waseem Bari has been booked under a Case FIR. No 136/2018 u/s 353 RPC in police station Bandipora following the complaint.
Pertinently, Waseem Bari is contesting ULB polls for Bandipora municipal committee from Ward No. 13.
The official said that BJP leader has used abusive language against the officer in his office following which he filed a compliant in PS Bandipora.
