Jammu, Oct 3: A woman died of electrocution in Samba district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Police identified the woman as Asha Devi,50, wife of Mangat Ram, a resident of Jakh, Vijaypur in the district. She got seriously injured and died due to electric shock at her residence. Short circuit is the cause behind the incident, police said.
They said that she was shifted to Emergency Hospital at Vijaypur where doctors declared her as brought dead.
A case has been registered.
