Srinagar, Oct 4: Hailstorm hit several areas of North Kashmir’s Baramulla on Wednesday causing extensive damage to crops, apple orchards and vegetable fields.
An Official said that parts of Baramulla witnessed heavy rains as well as hailstorm at around 3 : 50 PM, and continued for at least 10 minutes thereby resulted in the tremendous loss to farmers and fruit grows in parts of Baramulla.
Meanwhile group of farmers told over phone that district administration should depute teams to assess the damage caused by heavy rains and hailstorm in parts of Baramulla.
