CEC Kargil stresses for streamlining traffic system

KARGIL, OCTOBER 06: Chairman and Chief Executive Councillor (CEC), Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council (LAHDC), Kargil, Feroz Ahmad Khan today underscored the need for streaming traffic system in the Kargil town.

Chairing a meeting here convened to discuss and examine the traffic scenario in Kargil, the CEC asked the concerned Departments to work in unison and prepare a comprehensive plan with regard to better traffic management especially in the Kargil Town.

The meeting was attended by the Superintendent of Police, Dr Vinod Kumar, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Headquarter, Deputy Superintendent of Police Traffic and other concerned.

Threadbare discussion was held on various issues like parking from Khadi Nallah to Islami School Chowk, and on Hospital road, restricting regulating passenger limit in the Mini Buses and increase in manpower to ensure better traffic management.
