Kishtwar, October 09: Expressing concern over frequency of road mishaps, PCC Vice President and MLA Inderwal Ghulam Mohammad Saroori has expressed extreme grief and sorrow over the tragic road accident near Piyakul Kahara today resulting in the loss of two persons.
Saroori, was grieved to know about the accident and has urged Governor J&K Satya Pal Malik to take effective steps to check road accidents and pass the directions to the traffic department to take adequate and stringent measures to check the recurrence of road accidents. He also urged the Governor to provide adequate ex-gratia relief of Rs. 10 lakhs each in favour of the deceased family members.
He enjoyed upon the district administration to extend all possible assistance to those who got injured in an unfortunate accident. In his condolence message, Mr Saroori conveyed his heartfelt condolences and sympathies to the bereaved families in their hour of grief to the families whose dear ones died in an unfortunate accident. He prayed for peace to the departed souls beside a place for them in a heaven. He also wished speedy recovery to those who were injured in the accident.
The accident occurred when the ill-fated vehicle bearing no JK06A-1468 load carrier, which was on way from Jammu to Chinyas Bhalessa rolled over and fell into a deep gorge near Piyakul Kahara on Thathri-Kilhotran road. The deceased has been identified as Shabir Ahmed son of Zafferullah and Nissar Ahmed son of Ali Mohd both resident of Chinyas Bhalessa and the one seriously injured one have been identified as Yasir Arfat son of Zafrullah resident of Chinyas Bhalessa of district Doda.
