SAMBA:The residents of Mananu, in Samba area, blocked the Samba-Mansar road at Mananu over the issue of bovine smuggling for atleast 3 hours today morning.
The trouble started when the news spread that during intervening night some of the local residents caught bovine animals that were being smuggled. The bovine smugglers somehow managed to give a slip to the locals and escaped from the spot.
Further escalations were avoided as the administration assured swift and strict action against the bovine smugglers.
