Thiruvananthapuram, Oct 25: Seven children were injured when a school bus fell into a canal at Chowara near Vizhinjam here on Thursday.
The condition of all the injured, who were admitted to nearest hospitals including SAT Hospital, Fort Hospital, Vizhinjam Health Center, is said not to be serious.
The injured have been identified as Midhun (11), Ananthu (10),Sajila (11), Midul (5), Bhadra (8), Abhirami (11) and Theertha (10).
The accident occurred while the bus was giving way for a vehicle coming in the opposite direction. The bus of Pattam Thanupilla Memorial School met the accident at 0800 hrs, police said.
