Panchkula: Dancer Rakhi Sawant was injured during her dance performance at a wrestling show organised by Great Khali at Tau Devi Lal Stadium late this evening.
She was rushed to a private hospital in Zirakpur by the orgnisers of the event.
According to sources, Rakhi was dancing in the ring when a woman wrestler asked her to fight with her. Rakhi told her that she was a dancer and challenged her to compete with her in dance.
Both started dancing and after that there were arguments between the two. The woman wrestler lifted her up and threw her on the floor of the ring. Rakhi suffered injuries in the back. The organisers were tight-lipped about the incident.
