ADC Ganderbal reviews Milad arrangements

GANDERBAL, NOVEMBER 13: Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Ganderbal, Naseer Ahmad Wani today convened a meeting to review the arrangements being made for the forthcoming Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi (SAW) celebrations in the district.

The ADC while reviewing the arrangements stressed upon the officers for providing all the requisite facilities to the devotees such as safe drinking water, sanitation, Medicare facilities, besides critical care ambulances, adequate transport facilities, uninterrupted power supply and other facilities on the Milad days.

Emphasizing on the reverence of the Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi (SAW), the ADC impressed upon all the concerned departments to ensure all their respective tasks are covered with responsibilities.

The ADC enjoined upon the authorities of FCS&CA for providing sufficient quota of Rice, atta and sugar to the people. The EO municipality was asked to ensure proper sanitation in and around the shrines during the Milad days.

Furthermore, the ADC enjoined upon the Traffic Department to streamline the traffic arrangements to facilitate the devotees and ensure better transport facilities and route plan across the District during Milad days. Besides, the Health Department was asked to ensure availability of medicines, doctors, and ambulance.

ADC further stressed close coordination and synergy among line departments for ensuring adequate arrangements.

The meeting was attended by SDM Kangan, Joint Director Planning (CPO) Ganderbal, Additional SP Ganderbal, Executive Engineers of PHE, R&B and M&RE, Tehsildar Ganderbal, and other concerned officers.
