Braving the frosty weather conditions, the residents of south Kashmir’s Pulwama town on Wednesday staged a protest against erratic power supply.
Scores of residents on Wednesday afternoon converged at Murran chowk, the nerve centre of Pulwama, and held a protest against the frequent power outages in the district.
The protesters also blocked the Pulwama-Srinagar road for several hours in a bid to attract the attention of the authorities towards their plight.
The protesters later dispersed off peacefully after a team of Power Development Department assured them of an immediate improvement in the power supply.
