Patiala, November 18: Father-in-law of senior IAS officer Varun Roojam was shot dead by unidentified persons near Rajpura on Sunday.
The police recovered bullet ridden body of 64-year-old Swaran Singh from his car.
The attackers pumped three bullets into Singh, as per police.
The have ruled ot any terror angle and suspect the killing to be a fallout of some personal enmity. Singh was coming from Uksi village when the incident occurred.
