In a fourth such incident, a government school building was damaged in a blaze in Hatmulla area of north Kashmir district of Kupwara on Sunday.
An eyewitness said that fire broke out in government middle school building in Hatmulla around 7pm.
An official said that fire tenders from different parts of the district were rushed to douse off the leaping flames which were clearly visible from a distance.
“The cause of the fire was not immediately known and no one was injured in the incident,” said the official.
This was the fourth fire incident in the frontier district in past couple of days.
