BARAMULLA, NOVEMBER 20: Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Baramulla Farooq Ahmad Baba today visited Dargha Aliya, in Baramulla town to get the first-hand appraisal of arrangements put in place for the smooth celebration of Eid-e-Milad Nabi (SAW).
ADC was accompanied by Chief Executive Officer MC Baramulla, EXNs of PDD, R&B and PHE, Revenue authorities and various other concerned.
On the occasion, the Auqaf Committee members appraised the ADC about various facilities at the shrine and demanded all the basic amenities to be provided in a hassle-free manner. They expressed the gratitude of the district administration in general and of ADC in particular for installing 100kv sub-station (transformer) at the shrine just in a week time after its demand.
Meanwhile, ADC directed the PDD and PHE departments to provide un-interrupted Power and water supply to the people, particularly on this occasion. He also directed the Executive officer of Municipal Committee to ensure sanitation in and around the shrines where a large gathering of devotees are expected.
