Shutdown is being observed in Kashmir valley on Thursday against the killing of a Tehreek-e-Hurriyat leader Mir Hafizullah.
All shops and other business establishments are closed while public transport is mainly off the roads in summer capital Srinagar and other district headquarters of the valley.
