PULWAMA: In order to commemorate the Constitution Day District legal service authority Pulwama today organized a function at District Court Complex Pulwama.
Principal District and Session Judge Mohammed Ibraheim was the chief guest on the occasion.
While speaking on the occasion, Principal District and Session judge highlighted the importance and significance of the constitution, its inception and adoption. He said this is the day to reiterate our pledge to be law abiding citizens and added “writ of law in the society is the hallmark of a civilized society.” He said that the aim and purpose to commemorate such functions are to make people aware about the basic principles of the Constitution, fundamental rights and duties. He said Constitution is the voice of the marginalized which continues to be a guide in moments of crisis and uncertainty. He reiterated that people have a good faith on the judiciary and it is our duty to help the people in day to day administrational and other matters.
Officers of DLSA, Advocates, Para legal volunteers and other concerned were present on the occasion.
