Jammu, Nov 28: A drug peddler was nabbed with contraband of heroin here on city outskirts.
“A nakka was laid this morning in R S Pura area near Mehmoodpur for regular vehicles checking,” police here said.
They said that one person Rakesh Kumar alias Sonu Baba of village Seora, Tehsil Bishnah who tried to flee on seeing Police cops was apprehended and during his personal search about 01.2 gm Heroin (Chitta) was recovered from his possession.
A case under Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act was registered and an investigation started.
