DDC Owais reviews CTMV development works in Shopian.
Shopian: December, 01, 2018: The District Development Commissioner Shopian Dr. Owais Ahmed today chaired a meeting here at mini secretariat Arhama Shopian to review the physical and financial progress of Cluster Tribal Model villages of the district.
The meeting was attended by the Additional District Development Commissioner, Chief Planning Officer, Xens of PHE, Irriation,Chief Medical Officer, Chief Education Officer , Chief Agriculture, Horticulture ,Assistant Director Handicrafts and other concerned.
The threadbare discussions was held in the meeting it was informed that the aim of Cluster Tribal Model Village (CTMV) is to provide basic amenities to Schedule Tribe( ST) population in the activities like Education, health ,Skill Development , Horticulture ,Agriculture ,PHE ,Tourism and other concerned departments.
On the occasion the District Development Commissioner (DDC )sought the details of the expenditure with activity wise break up /description of works which have been taken up for development of Cluster Tribal Model Villages of the district .
He also directed the concerned officers to prepare the revised proposals for the developmental works of the model villages. He directed the concerned officers to maintain the highest standard of constructions and said that there should be no compromise on the quality of material used in construction. He further asked the officials to complete all the pending documental works so that no work suffers.
