RAJOURI, DECEMBER 01: Deputy Commissioner Rajouri Mohammad Aijaz Asad today reviewed the progress achieved in the district under Mission Indradhanush, aimed to immunize all children under the age of 2 years, as well as all pregnant women, against seven vaccine-preventable diseases.
The Mission was launched by DC Rajouri on November 22, 2018, in the district. It was given out that the district has achieved 100 per cent immunization in respect of leftover unvaccinated children and pregnant women under the Mission.
For successful conduct of the Mission Indradhanush, special teams were constituted comprising the medical officers and the concerned officials of the health department.
It was informed that the health department in Rajouri district had covered the left out unvaccinated areas through 84 sessions in 7 days, besides organized various awareness activities.
Deputy Commissioner Rajouri lauded the efforts of health officers and ASHA workers for achieving the cent per cent results under the Mission.
