SAMBA, DECEMBER 02: District Election Officer Samba Sushma Chauhan on Sunday reviewed the arrangements put in place for smooth conduct of upcoming phase of Panchayat polls in the district.
Senior Superintendent of Police Dr. Koushal Kumar Sharma, Additional District Development Commissioner Pankaj Magotra, Additional Deputy Commissioner Dr.Arun Manhas, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Kulbhushan Khajuria, Deputy DEO, Faisal Qureshi Additional Superintendent Police, Ritu Mahajan SDM Ghagwal, Vijay Kumar, SDM Vijaypur, election Observers, Tehsildars, Block Development Officers, Naib Tehsildars, Zonal Magistrates, Sectoral Magistrates, besides RO’S, ARO’S and officers from Police Department.
During the meeting, a threadbare discussion was held on Security plan, communication plan, transportation plan, management of ballot boxes, complaint redressal mechanism, election material distribution plan for phase VII in block Samba, Sumb and Nud.
During the meeting Zonal Magistrates, Sectoral Magistrates and officers from Police Dept were directed to maintain a close coordination and thwart any untoward incident during the election process.
District Election Officer exhorted upon the officer to put in place all necessary requirement well before time so that the Panchayat Election can be carried out in a free, fair and hassle-free environment in district Samba.
