POONCH, DECEMBER 07: SDM Mendhar, Mohammad Afzal Mirza, inaugurated one day workshop on Scheme of Fund for Regeneration of Traditional Industries (SFURTI) here today.
The Workshop was organized by Jammu and Kashmir Khadi and Village Industries Board (KVIB) for dissemination of information about various schemes of the central and state Government.
District officer KVIB Rajouri and Poonch, Sameer Mir, district officers of Agriculture, Sericulture, Horticulture, Social Welfare, representative of JKBRSETI Poonch, LDM Poonch, Branch Heads of JK Bank, JKGB of Block Mendhar, Mankote and Balakote, panchayat representatives besides ITI technocrats and other stakeholders were present on the occasion .
Speakers on the occasion appreciated the role of the KVIB in implementation of various schemes in the district which has greatly helped inn generating employment opportunities for the most deserving and needy persons.
On the occasion, District Officer KVIB briefed the participants with various schemes like SFURTI, PMEGP and JKRGEP through Power Point Presentation.
