Srinagar, December 12: After completing the shoot for a web series, Bollywood actor Arjun Rampal on Wednesday said he wished to stay forever in Gulmarg, which is presently covered in a blanket of snow. The popular actor was all praise for local cuisine ‘wazwan’ and asked locals to join acting schools to get an entry into the Hindi film industry.

“I have travelled most parts of the world but when I visited Pahalgam, I forgot every other city and realised that this is the best place on the earth. Then I visited Gulmarg and felt that every inch of Kashmir is beautiful. The town fascinated me even more. My wish is to stay here and never go back,” Rampal told reporters after shooting for ‘The Final Call’ based on Priya Kumar’s best-selling novel ‘I Will Go With You’.

He said, “As I was looking out from the balcony of my hotel, I got so engrossed into the beauty that a lot of ideas came to my mind about shooting here. Kashmir is a God’s wonderful gift where everyone must visit,” he said.

The actor said he also cherished wazwan. “I tasted wazwan…it was so tasty that I told one of the local guys to bring me rogan josh. I cherish the local cuisine and people are also very friendly and welcoming,” he said.

The actor also took to Twitter to post a snowfall video at Gulmarg from his hotel.

Before leaving, he tweeted, “Leave with my heart still there, thank you for your wonderful hospitality. Thank all the boys and chef. See you soon.”
