RAMBAN DECEMBER 13: To sensitize people about their constitutional right to franchise, social and moral duties besides ongoing Special Summary Revision (SSR), Education department in coordination with District Administration Ramban organized an awareness rally at Ramban under Systematic Voter’s Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) programme.
Dy. District Election Officer (Dy. DEO), Zaheer Abbas was the chief guest on the occasion , while Chief Education Officer (CEO) Nodal officer SVEEP, AH Fani presided over the function. Several officers and teachers acted as resource persons, while students from various schools participated in the programme.
Similar programme was also held at Rajgarh which was presided by the Tehsildar/
Participants were informed that all individuals who are 18 years of age or above as on first January 2019 are eligible to get their names enrolled in the electoral roll.
