JAMMU, DECEMBER 17: The Directorate of Environment and Remote Sensing conducted a Paryavaran Excursion for the students of Government Middle School, Padyari, Kathua to Manda Deer Park and Environment Park Raika.
The students, after seeing the birds and animals in the park, were taken to the Environment Park Raika to know about the concept of creating these parks.
Tariq Shawl, Conservator of Forests, Wild life/Regional Wild life Warden, Jammu elaborately described about the wildlife in Manda Deer Park and proposed activities of Jambu Zoo.
Later, Kuldeep Kumar, DFO apprised the students of various aspects of the Environment Park Raika.
Shahzad Chowdhary Wild life Warden, Jammu, S.K.Bhat, Wildlife Warden (HQ), Amit Kumar, ACF Incharge Jambu Zoo, Sunita Gupta, Headmistress Government Middle School Padyari and staff was also present on the occasion.
Pertinently, the Directorate recently organized a symposium and Painting Competition in Project Model HSS Janipur.
