Agra: Bharatiya Janata Party MLA Udaybhan Chaudhary was on Tuesday seen threatening Sub-Divisional Magistrate Garima Singh. The BJP legislator had gone to meet the SDM to discuss farmer issues. It was then the incident took place.
News agency ANI posted a video which showed the MLA shouting at the top of his voice. In the video, the legislator could be seen looking agitated and shouting at the top of his voice. He tells the woman, “Don’t you know I am an MLA? Don’t you realize my power, the power of democracy?”
The officer, on the other hand, is seen standing quietly while the legislator screams at her.

n another incident which took place last year, BJP MLA Radha Mohan Das Agrawal was captured shouting shouting at Charu Nigam, a woman IPS officer in Gorakhpur. In the video, Agrawal was heard saying, “Aapse baat toh mai kar nahi raha hu.. Chup rahiye. Bardasht ke bahar mat ho jao tum. (I am not speaking to you… Stay quiet. Don’t cross your limits).”
The IPS officer replied, “I am in-charge of this place. The law and order was being violated. I understand what I am doing.” Following the heated conversation, Nigam’s senior arrived at the spot and spoke to the BJP MLA about the ruckus which was created. The journalists, however, followed Nigam as she went aside and wiped her tears.
