Srinagar, May 28: Three persons were killed and four others were injured after a vehicle they were travelling in met with an accident in Chowkibal area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
Official sources told media that today at about 1:30 pm in Manshtar area of Chowkibal, a load carrier (JK02AF-2207) skidded off the road and fell into a deep nallah.
In the mishap, a minor boy identified as Parvez Ahmad Khowaja (23) son of Mohammad Yousuf Khowaja died on the spot while as Rayees Ahmad Sheikh (14) son of Fayaz Ahmad Sheikh of Dardpora and Ishfaq Khatana son of Abdul Rashid of Satboyen Dardpora succumbed later in the hospital, they said.
