Army patrolling party detects IED in north Kashmir’s Kupwara

Army on Thursday claimed to have recovered an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) in Shumnag area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.

The IED planted on a roadside was detected by the patrolling party of army’s 5 Bihar in Shumnag around 8 am, reported news agency media.

Quoting an unnamed police officer, the report said a bomb disposal squad was called which disposed off the explosive device without causing any damage.
