Srinagar, Dec 25: Islami Tanzeem-e-Azadi (ITeA) chairman Abdul Samad Malla, alias Inquilabi, was arrested by security forces late Monday night in south Kashmir district of Pulwama, official sources said.
They said Inquiabli, who was evading arrest since November was arrested from a house at Dogripora, Pulwama.
He has been lodged in a police station at Awantipora, the sources said, adding that Inquilabi was wanted in a number of cases for his alleged anti national activities.
Inquilabi was released after a court in Bandipora granted him bail on October 29. However, police later raided his house at Ganasthan in Bandipora several times to arrest him for anti national activities.
The ITeA chief has filed a case in a Bandipora court seeking compensation of Rs 10 crore from the state government for his repeated arrest.
