UDHAMPUR, DECEMBER 27: A two-day sports and physical aptitude test for students of block Udhampur was organized by District Administration here under ‘Khelo India Sports’ for peace and development programme.
The programme is being held under the overall supervision of Deputy Commissioner Udhampur Ravinder Kumar.
Santosh Sukhedeve was the chief guest who declared open the mega event while Manager Sports Council, Udhampur Shaktish Chopra presided over the function.
Around 225 male participants in the age group of 15 years drawn from different educational institutions clubs as well as locals took part on the first day of the two-day Khelo India competition.
While addressing the participants, the Chief Guest threw light on the importance of sports in everyday life.
Among others, Zonal Physical Education Officer Santosh Kumari, Manager Sports Council Udhampur Shaktish Chopra Physical besides Education Masters, and Physical Education Teachers and staff members and students of different schools also present on the occasion.
