Panchkula: The Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) has got an FIR registered against a person for allegedly issuing three fake appointment letters for Group D posts. The Sector 5 police station registered the case under sections pertaining to cheating and forgery.
It had come to the notice of the HSSC that Om Parkash Sharma issued fake appointment letters for posts of peon to Yogesh Kumar, a resident of Kaithal, and other candidates even though the result for the Group D posts had not been declared by the HSSC.
“This letter has not been issued by the HSSC. This person (Om Prakash) is not working in the office of the HSSC and not attached with it by other means. The address of Om Parkash Sharma shown on the speed post is 24/1, Verification Department, HSSC, Sector 13, Panchkula,” the HSSC stated in its complaint to the police.
