KARGIL, JANUARY 10:- Deputy Commissioner and CEO, LAHDC, Kargil Vikas Kundal today reviewed the digitization of the land records in the district here at a meeting of the revenue officers.
Regional Director Survey and Land Records and Additional Deputy Commissioner Kargil Sonam Chosjor, Sub Divisional Magistrate Shakar Chiktan Ghulam Mehdi, Tehsildars, Naib Tehsildars and other concerned officers were present in the meeting.
The meeting was informed that 60% of ground control points verification has been completed in the district till date and the remaining work is being carried out in full swing.
The Deputy Commissioner, while underlining the digitization of revenue records to improve record maintenance system, said that this will help in ensuring better land record management in the district.
He said that the process will also help to minimize land disputes and improve the overall land record maintenance system in the district.
The DC stressed on the officers to work with missionary zeal and dedication in ensuring the completion of the remaining verification work within the stipulated time.
