Shopian; Jan 18: The District Administration has initiated a comprehensive Free Coaching/Guidance programme under the name ‘DC’s Super 30 Initiative’’ for civil servant aspirants wherein district officers and experts from renowned coaching institutes will give useful insights to the 30 selected aspirants regarding preparation strategies for prelim, mains and personality test with special focus on preparation of CSAT and GS Components.
In this connection applications have been invited from the eligible aspiring graduates of District Shopian for free coaching /guidance classes for preliminary, Mains and Personality Test stages of Indian Administrative Service (IAS) and Kashmir Administrative Service (KAS).
It is a first of its kind initiative in district Shopian. Many students due to lack of funding for proper coaching are unable to fulfill their desire to join administrative services. It is therefore a welcome step from the district administration Shopian for helping deserving candidates of the district.
The applicants have to ensure that the application forms reaches the office of District Social Welfare Officer Shopian, Nodal officer for conduction of coaching classes by or before January 31, 2019 during office hours.
The application form should be accompanied by a passport size photograph, a copy of qualification certificates and D.O.B certificate.The coaching cum guidance classes shall start in first week of February 2019.
Speaking on the occasion, Deputy Commissioner, Dr Owais Ahmed said that the students from Shopian are very bright and have proven their mettle all fields. This initiative will further assist them in preparing for civil services. He further added that at first the course is decided for 30 students but the batch size might increase as and when required.
