Celebration of Republic Day calls for our accountability and feeling of nationalism and chauvinism. The intend behind celebration of Republic Day is always to illuminate children about the day when our Constitution was framed and came into being. On day 1, the precincts of Jammu Sanskriti School, Jammu was filled with an air of patriotism when a special assembly was conducted not only to celebrate but to pay tribute to our constitution developers as well. The special assembly commenced with symphony presented in honor of our nation followed by more patriotic songs and a splendid dance performance which enthralled the audience.
All the coordinators delivered an innerving speech which apprise4d the children further about this day. Ensuing this Inter-house Rangoli Competition was also held in which the Sanskritians made appealing and bewitching Rangolis on “Patriotism”.
The second day celebration began with unfurling of our flag by Mrs.Kanwaljeet Kour from management with Chairperson Harpreet Singh Anand and Principal cum Vice-Chairperson Ms.Rohini Aima. Following this a symphony was presented by faculty in the school environs. Culminating the celebration Principal cum Vice-Chairperson Mrs. Rohini Aima asserted we should not seek for special days to celebrate the glory of our nation. She further added that our Constitution has given us tremendous fundamental rights which we use with freedom but at the same time we need to recognize our fundamental duties as Indian and as Global citizens to contribute substantially for the progress and development of our nation.
