Jammu, Jan 29: Army on Tuesday launched a search operation after seeing a suspicious movement in bordering Samba district of Jammu and Kashmir.
“A suspicious movement was seen late on Monday night in River Basantar following which the search operation was launched,” official sources here said.
They said that the search operation is being carried out in the River Basantar bed, Ramgarh sector and other adjoining areas.
“Nothing has been found so far but we are on job,” said a police official.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is also visiting Vijaypur tehsil of Samba on February 3 to lay foundation of AIIMS and other developmental projects.
